(inventory # AA-254)
These are getting to be so rare that collectors don't know what they are.  Originally these folio stands held sheet music and could be positioned neatly close to the piano for quick reference.  They could easily be used as stands for magazines or portfolios for artwork.  This walnut Eastlake Victorian example is an exuberant example of decorative woodworking with incised lines, rosettes, and angular repetitive shapes.  It's a fun piece to enjoy.  We don't recommend it for heavy objects like books.
