Shapely Oak Stand
(inventory # CC-85)

It's rare that we find parlor tables with no stretcher or support shelf below the top surface.  THis is one of those cases.  No evidence of any support anywhere on the legs.  It's certainly sturdy enough for a lamp. This stand is built with heavy corner braces using wing nuts to attach the legs and support the skirt.  IT will come apart easily for shipping in a box.    The slightly shaped square top has some wonderful quartersawn oak grain.  The legs and skirt are shaped as well and have some carved accents for interest.
