Mahogany 54" Dining Table (inventory # DD-192) Here is a 54" Round mahogany dining table with a solid mahogany top and the original 7 leaves. We added the skirts on the leaves to match the table skirt. Note it has vertical grain veneers with a beaded molding on the bottom. These skirted leaves really finish a table well. This table is engineered with the dual locking system to get maximum performance from this table. First unlock the table top, then you can install two of the 10" leaves extending the table to a 74" x 54" oval shape. If you need to seat more people, then open the pedestal by unlocking the lock at the top of the pedestal. This allows the base to split and reveals the hidden center leg. Now the table will accept up to 7 leaves and extends the table to just over 10 feet long. Slides work well, Locks perform as they are intended- a very practical and well built table. The platform style base has the Empire Style wave crest pawfeet on each corner. The pedestal itself has deeply fluted ribs and a heavy molded collar. Empire Revival Style. Size ................ 30"
