Small Oak Corner China
(inventory # DD-39)
Besides being one of the smallest corner chinas you can find
(with a corner to edge measurement of 23.5") this piece also has some other
nice features. The shelves are original wood shelves with plate grooves
along the back sides. Each of the three shelves are also adjustable
giving you lots more options for display and storage that most of the fixed
shelved ones. The front center leg is also part of the main structure
of this piece and this helps keep the piece square and the doors from sagging.
Both doors have original latches and we have keys for each. The crowning
glory of this piece is the double mirrored splash with a unique carved
center. The beveled mirrors have not been re-silvered and still show
their 1905 date on that backs. There are some minor blemishes in
the silvering and they can be re-silvered as an additional option.
