"Edison" 5 Drawer Stand
(inventory # DD-73)
This cute oak "Edison Cabinet" was originally used as the stand for Edison Cylinder record player with storage in each of the five drawers below for the cylinder records.  We have left the original bottoms in the drawers showing the ghosts of the holders.  We did place a nice quartersawn oak bottom on top of this to give you more of a finished look inside.  The details are everywhere on this piece, from fine egg and dart molding around the recessed side panels, to moldings under the top and molded columns. The legs have unique incised carvings, both front and back.  The drawer pulls are original brass shell ring pulls and one ring is mismatched on the bottom drawer.  Solid quartersawn oak.
