Victorian Walnut Expanding Table
(inventory # GG-163)

Here is one of our favorite Little/Big tables.  This Victorian era walnut table is a very small 42" diameter when closed, but opens up to allow all five of the original leaves and extends to about 106".  The table slides on this piece work very easily.  The original leaves were each made from a single board width of walnut and so four of them are 13" wide and one is 12" wide.  The base splits as the table is pulled apart.  To lock the table,  the original cast iron sash type locks are still located under the table top. There is no separate "factory" lock on the base.  This table has a decent original finish on the base and skirt.  We believe the top has been refinished.  The leaves have a variety of colors- some matching better than others.  And there is a slight warp in a couple of the leaves. This table also came to us with a full set of custom made table pads for the table and each individual leaf.   We would like to extend some options to you on this table.
1.  Refinishing the entire table and leaves to match: $500
2.  Adding skirts to the leaves so that they match: $100 per leaf
