This is a fabulous example of a high quality winged griffin dining table.  The griffins have tails curled under them in an exquisite open treatment.  Well defined carvings on the faces, paws, wings and acanthus leaf trim.  They don't get much better than this!  The solid quartersawn top has a carved skirt which picks up the acanthus leaf motif.  There are currently two 12" leaves with carved skirts. More can be added, but that would be an option.  The table seats 6-8 with the two leaves now.   The split pedestal base has a unique locking mechanism which is very positive.  .
